Warranty and Refunds

Warranty

Unless otherwise noted, all KVgear products are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and performance shortcomings for a period of 90 days from the date that the package was delivered to the customer.  "Performance shortcomings" refers to a situation where a KVgear product does not have the capacity, stability, adaptability or other features described on the product's page.

PA2pro power supplies are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years from the date that the package was shipped to a customer.

If any KVgear product is found to have a manufacturing defect or performance shortcoming during the applicable warranty period, KVgear will either:  1) provide a replacement product at no additional cost to the customer (shipping will be free), or 2) provide a full refund for the original purchase cost (including shipping) of the product.  The decision to replace or refund will be made by KVgear.

Returns

If a customer receives a KVgear product and decides that they purchased the wrong size or type, or that they simply don't like the product, they may send it back to KVgear for a refund minus a 15% restocking fee.  The restocking fee will be waived if the product has not been removed from its original inner packaging and it has not been assembled.  The cost to ship the product from KVgear to the customer will not be refunded.  The cost to ship the product from the customer back to KVgear will be paid by the customer.

Packing Instructions for Returns

To avoid damage during shipping, please pack the stand exactly as we shipped it to you.  The two black side panels should be stacked neatly on top of each other inside of a plastic bag.  The telescoping tubes should be in separate plastic bags, and the knobs should be kept separate from the side panels to prevent scratches.    Place alll components into the cardboard box so that the tubes and knobs do not sit on top of the side panels.  Wrap the flaps of the box tightly around the stand so it doesn't slide around in the box during shipping.  Tape both ends of the box closed.

Why a restocking fee?

We don't enjoy charging this fee, but it's necessary because returns are very costly for us.  When an opened item reaches us, we need to clean it, create new packaging, and place the item for sale at a discount on our website.  In the case of a warranty return, there is no restocking fee -- the item is either replaced for free or a full refund is given.
