Knob with Long Threads

Our latest batches of long telescoping tubes have threaded fittings that are sunk a little deeper into the tubes than in the original telescoping tubes from 2020 and 2021, and the rigid silver/grey tubes used on KVgear stands prior to 2020.  In most cases, the threaded fitting is deep on only one end of the tube.

If you're purchasing replacement telescoping tubes for a KVgear stand purchased prior to September 2022, we recommend that you purchase a single one of these special long-thread knobs per telescoping tube.   The thread length on these knobs is 1" instead of the 0.625" on earlier knobs.

If you're a fan of symmetry, you might want to purchase two knobs per tube so you'll have identical knobs on each end.  But this isn't mandatory.
